Last night, we wrapped our scenes at New York Downtown Hospital. The hospital has been used many times as a set location by everyone from Law & Order to Woody Allen and I found out last night that we will be the last film crew to ever shoot there. Next week, construction will begin on a new breast cancer wing.

Somehow, the stars aligned for me and my

production days happened to fit perfectly in that narrow window.

Big, huge, tremendously huge thanks to the staff at New York Downtown Hospital, especially Sarah Jones, who gave us permission and Anthony Ercolano, who could not have been more attentive and kind.

Yesterday was probably the toughest days in terms of performances. A lot of crying. I woke up this morning all swollen. Anything in the name of art.

Two more days of shooting and we’re wrapped!
