when a theme was announced on Friday night at 8 PM and we had to write, shoot and edit a five minute film based on that theme and submit it by Monday at 8 PM. (We managed to turn in our film with literally one minute to spare.)

This year’s theme was “Now You See Me” and I teamed up with a few guys to create a romantic comedy called “The Assistant and her Lovely Magician” about a young woman who tries to find her boyfriend after he literally disappears into thin air. It stars yours truly and the hilarious Justin Tyler of the comedy group Sidecar.

I’ll post it as soon as the judging period is over. Wish us luck!
